About Us

The Cris Collinsworth ProScan Fund (CCPF) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in Cincinnati. CCPF was founded in 2002 with a mission to improve women’s health through the Pink Ribbon Programs and to promote child development through the Queen City Classic Chess Programs.

The Pink Ribbon Programs began with a passion to raise the bar for women’s health, particularly in mammography. Now operating three free-standing women’s imaging centers and offering five Pink Ribbon Programs, CCPF has served tens of thousands of women in Greater Cincinnati and provided support for breast cancer patients around the country.

The Queen City Classic Chess program began with a vision to create an opportunity for as many children as possible to play chess in a healthy environment.  The Queen City Classic Chess Tournament, held at Paul Brown Stadium, has become one of the largest scholastic chess tournaments in the Midwest, selling out at 700 players each year. In the fall of 2013, CCPF launched the Queen City Classic Chess in Schools Program. With our own curriculum and a team of instructors that includes retired teachers, teaching students, and advanced chess players, CCPF provides chess instruction in over 20 schools to nearly 1,000 students in Greater Cincinnati.
