We welcome Dr. Chris Tuell from the Lindner Center of HOPE as this year’s Guest Speaker at the Pre-Luncheon Seminar.
Dr. Tuell is a clinical psychotherapist and a chemical and behavioral addiction specialist with over 35 years of experience in the field of mental health, addiction and co-occurring disorders. Presently he serves as Clinical Director of Addiction Services at the Lindner Center of HOPE in Mason, Ohio. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience in the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Tuell earned his doctorate degree from the University of Cincinnati, and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. He has completed advance training in the treatment of Behavioral Addictions including sexual addiction, problem gambling, and compulsive internet behaviors. He has provided trainings at the national, regional and local levels. In addition, Dr. Tuell is certified by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and is certified as an EMDR therapist in the treatment of PTSD. Dr. Tuell was recently honored as 2019 Health Care Heroes – Provider of the Year.
